College / campus distance learning support staff are available to assist faculty interested in deploying the Kent State Online template (KSOT) in their online course.
The Kent State Online template is designed to help faculty build a quality online course quickly and easily. The template comes pre-loaded with a standard course structure as well as placeholders for course content that can be customized.

Prior to any work taking place within an online course, distance learning support staff will contact faculty to confirm and discuss the type of assistance requested.
Available to
Kent State University faculty, adjuncts, and graduate teaching assistants.
Requirements
The Kent State Online template may be applied to courses that exist within the Blackboard Learn or Canvas LMS.
Note: Requests for assistance migrating existing course content should be submitted 4 weeks prior to the start date of the course.
What Happens Next
Requests will be routed to college / campus distance learning support staff. Distance learning support staff will respond to requests during regular university business hours, Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, within 1-2 business days.
