Add a resource to a project

In order for a user(s) to be assigned to tasks in a project plan or issues in the project, the user(s) MUST be added as a resource on the project and must have access to the appropriate applications in TD Next, i.e. users assigned FREE client user licenses can only consume interact with the service catalog and do not have access to projects or tickets in TD Next.

Note: Only users with the Manager or Alt. Manger role on a project are able to add a user as a resource to a project.
 

Step 1. Select the Project Details component of a project.


 

Step 2. Click the Actions button, then select Add Resources.


 

Step 3. Enter or search for a user to add to the project then use the Add button to add them as a resource to the project.
