Change Manager or Alternate Manager of a project

In order for a user to be assigned to either the Manager or Alternate Manager role in a project, the user(s) MUST first be added as a resource on the project. Second, the user attempting to assign or change the user role must be a manager of the project.

Note: Only one user may be assigned the Manager role, however, multiple users may be assigned the Alternate Manager role in order to help maintain and update the project.
 

Step 1. Select the project to manage.

Expand the list of project components, locate and select Manage.

Step 2. Select the Collaboration component of the project.

Step 3. Click the Actions button, then select Change Manager.

Step 4. Select the desired New Manager or Alternate Manager from the drop down box.

Note: The drop down box will only display users who are resources on the project, the same users who are listed in the Team component of the project.
