Proctored testing instructor account

Kent State University supports Proctorio and ProctorU remote test proctoring services which allow students to take online proctored exams using a computer, webcam, and high-speed Internet connection.

Available to

Kent State University faculty, adjuncts, and graduate teaching assistants.

Requirements

Faculty must request an account and receive mandatory training prior to using the service in their online course. There is no fee charge back to the faculty member, department, college, or campus.

  • Available for online courses coded in Banner as V1, V2, or V3.
  • Exams must be administered using a university supported learning management system such as Blackboard Learn; paper-based exams are NOT supported.
  • For ProctorU training, faculty are required to select a preferred day and time to attend a synchronous online WebEx video session.
  • For Proctorio training, faculty will be provided training materials. 

What happens next

Proctored testing administrator will respond to requests during normal work hours, Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, within 1 business day.
