Request purchase or renewal of electronic or physical materials for a course. This may be e-books, films, or other electronic resources that you would like the library to make available for your course.
Please Note: Some materials may take several weeks to acquire, plan accordingly by submitting requests well in advance of the course delivery date. Videos are typically only licensed for one year, using electronic reserves will help the library monitor expiration dates.
Available to
Kent State University faculty, adjuncts, grad assistants, librarians, and DL staff that need access to electronic materials for a specific class.
Requirements
Please provide information about the materials you need including what details are essential and which are flexible. For example, if you are requesting a certain translation, would another version be acceptable if the preferred translation is not available.
What happens next
University Libraries' Course Reserves Department will find resources that are available and let you know what the options are. They will work with the library acquisitions department in order to get approval in the budget and acquire materials that are approved.
