- All course development-related tasks are now in ONE plan - 'Course Development' or 'Course Revision' as applicable.
- DL staff are no longer assigned to any tasks in the 'Project Administration' project plan in new course development and course revisions.
- DL staff are no longer responsible for submitting a notification to "process compensation"
-

- Added new task to Kick-off meeting card: Send ‘Guide to Online Course Development’ document to course developers prior to meeting
- Added new task to Course Walkthrough card: Update project status to ‘Development Tasks Completed’ once all tasks in the 'Course Development' or 'Course Revision' project plan have been completed
- Task removed - DL staff are no longer required to move the course development project folder to the 'Archived Course Materials' folder in KSO SharePoint
-
Project updates and issues changes
- The general rule for project updates is to notify the KSO Project Director and supervisor
- Exceptions to the general rule, i.e., including other key stakeholders to notifications such as dept. chair, school director, dean, etc. will be handled on an individual basis AFTER a request or issue has been identified and discussed with the KSO Project Director and their supervisor
-
Extending project end dates
- DL staff no longer required to request that faculty course developers contact their dept. chair/school director for approval to extent project end dates
- DL staff should not extend project end dates without consulting with the KSO Project Director and their supervisor
- DL staff are responsible for notifying the KSO Project Director and their supervisor any time a project may need to extend the set end date in order to complete the development
- For projects that may need to request a short amount of additional time (days to a couple of weeks), DL staff may submit the request/notification as part of the regular weekly project update.
- For projects that may require a substantial amount of additional time (several weeks to an entire development term) DL staff should submit an issue against the project with additional details, including a reason for the delay in progress, any potential plans/strategies for resolution, and their availability to continue work on the project
- The KSO Project Director will consult with the project manager, their supervisor, and key stakeholders as necessary to determine the best plan to complete the course development project
- The KSO Project Director will update the project end date in the project details and add any tags to the project as applicable (#carryover, #2TermDev)
