LMS course shell naming conventions

Please note the following:

  • Course types with an asterisk next to them will NOT be archived or migrated.
  •  ID should not have any spaces or characters other than numbers and letters, dash “-“, underscore “_”, or period “.”. •
  • AY = Academic Year
  • Term is designated by: 10 = Spring, 60 = Summer, 80 = Fall.
  • Cross-listed courses designed to be run as both, with neither as primary, can be given a dash between the first digit of the number in the name and ID (Name: BASE – CS 4-57221 Introduction to Cryptology – 15wk  ID: Base.15.4-57221).
