KSU-DDLA Org Recommended Settings

The Course Development Agreement Forms template is located in the KSU-DDLA organization (org) in Dynamic Forms. All units initiating course development agreement forms have access to the org and use the same template, i.e., everyone is working in the same org and there will be a lot of forms (documents) that will not be "YOURS".

In order to make it easier to locate and track forms that your unit has initiated, the following changes are recommended to your individual user preferences in the in the KSU-DDLA org.

Change Org Preference Settings

Dynamic Forms users may select which orgs, and therefore which form templates within the orgs, appear on their Home page when logging into the application. It is important to make sure that the KSU-DDLA org, the production organization, is selected prior to initiating any course developer agreement forms.

Step 1. Click on Selected orgs under the Forms Template heading.

Step 2. Select the KSU-DDLA org

Step 3. Adjust the visibility and the order of Status settings, then click the Save as Preference button.

Change Status View Settings

Updating the view settings for the form statuses allows the user to customize the columns (data fields) that are visible for each initiated form. And reduces the need to scroll in order to find and view data associated with each form. Setting the preferences is only required once; all status views use the same settings.

NOTE: The course developer agreement form template was created to allow each unit to select additional documents to accompany the DDLA, i.e., there are MANY columns (data fields) to chose from and you must be careful which columns are selected. The "safe" columns are those that contain the DDLA data since that document is the same for EVERY form initiated.

Step 1. Click in the cell under ANY status heading (Returned, Multi, Pending, Processed, and Archived)

Step 2. Click on the Preference button.

Step 3. Expand the Field options and set visibility and order.

Step 4. Expand the Sorting options and set to 'Descending' by 'ESignDate'.

Step 5. Set the Paging option to a minimum of 25.
